CAMO has reached a critical point in its growth. For more than three decades, our model has proven that sustainable healthcare, education, and community development can be built in Honduras. Today, however, our physical space can no longer support the volume of patients, programs, staff, equipment, and services we are providing.

The Campaign to Strengthen CAMO’s Services & Distribution in Honduras will expand our capacity through a new warehouse and distribution center and the transformation of our existing headquarters into expanded clinical, educational, and administrative space.

3.2 million dollar campaign is about far more than additional square footage. It is about quality of care, future growth, and long-term sustainability. Our current facility was never designed to accommodate the number of patients and services we now provide. Offices have become clinics, staff work in overcrowded spaces, and limited clinical capacity restricts our ability to meet growing demand.

The expanded facilities will allow CAMO to serve more patients in an environment designed for safe, efficient care, while creating dedicated space for professional training, education, biomedical services, prosthetics, and other programs.

Equally important, the expansion creates opportunities for new revenue-generating services that can strengthen CAMO’s financial independence in Honduras. Our goal is not continued dependence on U.S. donors, but a stronger model in which locally generated income increasingly supports operations and future growth.
